Native Soil Bacteria Show Powerful Control of Root-Knot Nematodes in Malabar Spinach

A new study from Vietnam identifies three indigenous bacterial strains—Bacillus velezensis BHMT4.1, Pseudomonas fluorescens HMMT1.1, and Staphylococcus carnosus CCMT2.1—that significantly suppress root-knot nematodes and improve Malabar spinach growth. Findings highlight their potential use as sustainable biopesticides.
