Researchers have identified three high-performing biosurfactant-producing bacteria—Bacillus cereus, Acinetobacter soli, and Cytobacillus kochii—from the extreme environment of the Thar Desert. These strains showed strong emulsification and surface tension reduction abilities, revealing significant potential for bioremediation and sustainable agriculture.
