Hemanta Kumari Chaudhary: Hemanta Kumari Chaudhary is a microbial biotechnologist and a PhD scholar specializing in Synthetic Microbial Community (SynCom)-based biofertilizers and biopesticides for sustainable agriculture. Her research focuses on harnessing beneficial microbial consortia to improve nutrient uptake, enhance soil health, and reduce disease incidence, aligning with national priorities in sustainable agriculture. She holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and has published multiple peer-reviewed papers in molecular genetics, wildlife genomics, microbial resistance, and plant biotechnology.
Beyond academia, she works as a Research & Product Development Manager at Yarsa Agro Research Pvt. Ltd. With over a decade of experience in molecular biology, plant-microbe interactions, and microbial biotechnology, she has contributed to advancing sustainable agricultural solutions and biodiversity conservation.
She is also the founder of Anek Biotech, a pioneer startup dedicated to harnessing beneficial microbes for industrial enzymes and sustainable agriculture. Through her research and entrepreneurial work, she aims to bridge science and innovation for global food security and eco-friendly technologies.

She did her undergrad from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus with a major in microbiology and has completed her masterโs in Biotechnology from National College affiliated with Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
